The remix of this song almost sounds more sad and mourning than angry. And it’s not even ironic - have you ever been so angry that you cried? I did during this time… lots. And I think that’s because, at least for me, this rage was also in reaction to absolute betrayal. We have all experienced this at some point (or many) in our lives, where you trust someone with something very precious to you. The last thing you want is, in that moment of vulnerability, to feel taken advantage of, lied to, or betrayed.
